Comfort provide a dignified service with qualified staff assisting clients with their most important and personal daily tasks like showering/bathing dressing, grooming, and toileting. Our caring staff show the utmost respect to our clients and can assist with any needed hygiene requirements and routines.

Helping You – with Nursing Care

Our qualified nursing team can support you while you recover from surgery or an injury until you’re feeling better. We can also help longer term with medication management, ongoing dementia care and with palliative and end of life care.

Help You – within the Home – (Cleaning – Laundry – Organisation)

Our support staff assist our clients with cleaning and organising their homes. We
understand the pride of looking after your own home and happily assist with light cleaning, mopping & vacuuming, laundry, ironing and making and changing beds, and organising your household in general.

Helping You – Meal Preparation

Maintaining a healthy diet is crucial to both health and well-being. Comfort staff can assist with all matters of meal planning and preparation including shopping for ingredients, preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals. We can also assist with feeding if needed. We understand and cater for special dietary preferences and requirements.

Helping You – Update Your Home – (Home Maintenance & Modifications)

We appreciate that as our clients and their homes age – certain modifications and repairs will need to be made. We can help with arranging the installation of handrails, shower rails, chair lifts, general house repairs, changing of light bulbs and lawn mowing and garden maintenance.

Helping You – Get Out & About

We provide professionally trained nurses or general support staff to accompany our clients to and from appointments, shopping outings and other social destinations outside the home. This is a safe and secure service that gives clients and their families peace of mind.

We support social and community activities to enhance our client’s well-being. We providenot only company, but emotional support – while driving our clients to outings, events, social activities or to visit family and friends.

Helping You – Remain Well with Well-being Programs

We provide a range of programs, therapies, and services to maximise our client’s
independence, and their health and well-being. Services include passive and active exercises, diet management, balance & flexibility programs, mobility and falls prevention, as well as pain management.

Helping You – with Assistive Technology

Assistive technology helps our clients do things on their own more easily; communicate better and remain safe. Examples include personal alarms, enhanced phones, movement activated lights, medication dispensers and video conferencing.

A Break for Carers – Respite

Comfort offers a range of respite services for clients and regular carers to ensure carers can have flexibility while our clients can remain assisted and safe. This service is particularly important if clients are being cared for by a family member who needs time to recharge or has other competing needs and cannot care for his/her family member for a period of time.

Extra Help – Aids & Equipment

Very soon Comfort will be able to offer a range of equipment to keep you mobile and safe, such as walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, shower chairs and continence aids.

Companions can be hired to work in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted
